So whats new? uhh... i got admitted into a mental institution a few months ago, fractured my face in 4 places, overdosed a few times... and now im going through with rehab... what a summer to remember (or not really... i remember virtually nothing)

all in all... im doing ok now...

on a lighter note anyone see the new stuff they have at TGS for FINAL FANTASY XIV!!!! amazing... cant wait!

OH MY GOD... I havent been so excited during a movie as much as i was when watching IRON MAN... i felt like a 12 year old on crack... every single thing about this movie got my pumped... it took every ounce of self control not to jump up screaming in glee during the entire 2h 15min of this movie!

And to top it all off... they had the suit Robert Downey Jr. ... as well as his car... at the theater in hollywood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Synopsis:
Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of both a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch.

just got back from vegas, jericho did an amazing job like always, finished all line work Added Rem to the back of my arm... wraps around to Ryuk (All Colored!) added an apple! the colors in the pic does no justice... it looks amazing.. my white skin really allows the color to be like 10 times brighter... estimate about 2 more sessions to go (at least for half-sleeve.... probably many more to follow that)... gonna add Jealous probably next session... under rem (right on my elbow)

Anyone know if theres a Sub yet? its been over a month and still cant find one. I can pretty much understand whats going on in the RAW (since its almost a recap clip show with added scenes) but id love to be able to have the sub... since my japanese is terrible.

gundam has always been up there on my list of stupider than fuck anime. i could never get into it, animation hals almost always sucked ass... character designs were always horrible, and stories that went from tangent to tangent with no REAL substance.

Then comes Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
I cant even try to hate it. it wont let me. the animation is actually amazing, as well as the actual detail in character design and background design. I cant say much about the story seeing only 1 episode is out (Came out yesterday people go check it out! http://www.animegunshuu.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=14 )

this might be the first gundam show i watch... blasphemy! oh well... as long as it continues to impress.


Also first episode of Dragonaut - The Resonance, is out... its pretty average... not fantastic or anything yet. too packed with stuff that should have at least been spread out into the 2nd ep... also the animation is pretty sub-par with ambiguous character design.

not gonna touch the others since im not into those cheesy high-school romance-comedy-drama, anime.(clannad)

Bamboo Blade, and Night Wizard dont appeal to me either.. (BB is another ambiguous All Girl cast, that ive seen done a million times.)

sooo halloween is coming up... get to dress up at work.. and its been a looooong time since ive made a costume... lets see the past couple of years... i was Johnny Depp from Once Upon a time in Mexico (when he got his eyes ppulled out and the blood is dripping under his glasses)
Brad Pitt from Fight Club. A Crazy 88 from Kill Bill (complete with resin cast Kato Mask, and Michele as the Beatriz Kiddo, Yellow/Black Bike suit...

You can see most of my costumes have been movie related (usually a cool movie that came out that year i dressed up)

Never have i done an Anime costume so i thought id geek out this year and lay down some cosplay.
I originally was gonna go for the super all-to-easy Yagami Light, with his school uniform(too easy) Then i thought Kamina, then Balthier from FFXII... buuuuuuuuuuuuut i went with Hei from Darker than Black.

Never actually made a fullface mask like this and i dont really know what im doing... i figure i can just wing it... the costume should be fairly simple now that i have the mask out of the way... here it is semi-complete, its a little rough, needs a bit more sanding... and i want to fit sunglass lenses instead of the black mesh in the eyes... but... meh...

heres the preliminary design i have for my next tat, once i finish my DN sleeve.

A scene from the anime Gurren-Lagann, Kamina, cockpit view, reworked in photoshop, added sketching and bg bg smudging to get a painty look. i didnt mess around with it too much, since i really wanted this shot to remain pretty close to the original cel. really cool colors that will look really good on skin.. stars are negative stars... so they wont be colored in... but add to the overall layout design.

Oh yeah i forgot to mention.... Its the Final Cutscene ending for Halo 3 hope it didnt spoil anything...

my parents are moving so i had to go get some stuff i left at their house before they left.

Most importantly all my comic books, artwork, and of course my toys (action figures!)

I totally forgot about all my figures... i have all the eva units, kenshin, saito, sano figures, and totally forgot about my Warlands figure.

I picked it up back in 2000 from SDCC. Its an extremely rare (1 of 750 ever made) Aalok, Crystal Armor Warlands Figure. (Warlands is an older comic created by Pat Lee, printed under his Dreamwave company, which is no longer around) to top it off... Pat Lee asked me if he could sign it when i picked it up. Im glad i still have it lol.

my heads spinning... so stuff on my mind..

Gurren-Lagann: cant get enough, this is such a fun, awesome, hyper-animated show... and i absolutely love the character designs... Viral, Kamina are total awesomness.

Tattoos: Fuck fuck fuck fuck... i need money!!!! i want to turn my paley(according to some) white arms and chest into an explosion of color and lines. On top of finishing the Deathnote Half-sleeve (which will meld into the next ones seeping from my shoulder down to my chest) Kamina is next. a large cockpit view of him fully colored. which will then branch off into a series of stuff that has influenced my own art/style over the years including (Rurouni Kenshin, Evangelion,) and ending in a piece, with characters drawn and created by me. (Keep in mind this is all stuff that has been influencial in my art.. im doing this for me, and not anyone else... certain anime may not be popular anymore, now or in the future... but the pieces im getting will always have meaning, and be popular to me)


Games: hmmm, Warhawk is addictive as hell, funnest game ive played in a while.
Rachet and Clank Future demo... is decent. too much vsync problems though framerate is good but page-tearing destroy the absolutely beatiful graphics. (its a demo, so ill hold hope that OCT release will be fixed)

Movies: Shoot Em Up... LOL awesome. its so fucking campy.. the action is super over-the-top comic book stuff, the one liners are so ridiculous, its intensely fun. i dont think theres 5 minutes without gunfire... go see it if you likes Sin City, 300, War, Smoking Aces.

War: Jet Li and Jason Statham... nuff said. oh and the twists will have you saying WTF!?
